Paul Rignanese

Summary

My work focuses on the development of tools for collection and processing of neural dynamics. More precisely, it involves the prototyping and design of experimental setups, and programming of analysis pipelines to process different kinds of neuronal data. The aim of this research is to try to decipher brain circuits that are dysfunctional in rodent models of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability. To do so, we try to assess how is neural activity impaired in such disease models compared to the healthy brain.
